ParisTech International Admission Program

ParisTech has built its international policy through a range of partnerships. The coordinated recruitment of international students in preferred areas is one of its greatest successes.

ParisTech International Admission Program

The ParisTech Grandes Écoles combine to co-ordinate recruitment in an "Engineering Excellence"  programme. This ambitious international admission programme aims to attract the best international students in MSc in Engineering.  It is aimed at graduates from countries known for their economic and cultural vibrancy and for the excellence of their initial education:

This international admission program began in 2000 in China with the 50i programme. Building on this success, ParisTech opted to expand its sphere of activity in Brazil, in Russia and then in Colombia and Argentina. 2021 marks a new step with the opening of the International Admission Program to a dozen new countries and regions in Asia: Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Lao, Macao, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea,Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam, and in 2022 to all Asia.

The international admission program is typical of the strong and lasting relationships formed over the years by ParisTech with the best universities in these countries.

From 2022, the ParisTech International Admission Programme is opened worldwide. A bachelor student in another country than the countries above can apply here ("Other countries").

Grab the opportunity!

ParisTech schools admit international students generally in the second year of the "diplôme d'ingénieur", i.e. at master level (1st year).

If you are admitted, you will have to get a B1-level in French when you arrive in France because most of the courses are taught in French.

Studying engineering in one of ParisTech schools means:

  • Benefit from an internationally recognised, tailored education
  • Experience an intense and committed student life
  • Learn about other cultures
  • Immerse yourself in the capital of sciences and humanism:  Paris
  • Become a future leader and a member of an international alumni community
