The common goal of these advanced master’s programmes is to prepare young engineers with a good mastery of the changes underway and the future challenges to tackle in the transportation sector, whether it be for research, study, design, management or operational professions.

Beyond this goal, they share several essential characteristics:

  • highly multidisciplinary, they integrate, at the best possible level, lessons derived from transport system engineering and the human and social sciences
  • driven by the major issues of our time, especially the challenge of sustainable development and design
  • international in scope through course content, the location of case studies and student recruitment
  • focused on high-level expertise and professionalization, their teaching methods include both education through research methods that enable young engineers to acquire the rigour and the ability to mobilise the acquired knowledge and active educational methods that aim to develop operational skills in a working situation
